The children of Honduras are of mixed European and Indian descent. These children can be light or dark, depending on their background, but many will have light hair and eyes. There are boys and girls available. The children range in age from zero to ten years, however, by the time a child arrives in the U.S., he or she will be at least eight months old.

After your dossier has been sent to Honduras, it takes about one to three months to locate a child who meets your family's desires. At that time you will travel to Tegucigalpa to meet your child and set up foster care. Your stay will be around three to five days. When you arrive home, plan on waiting four to six months during which time your paperwork will travel through the various courts.
